
Before & After School Sports & Fitness Activities Program
The before and after school supervised program runs according to the school year calendar, from the beginning of September to the end of June. NonStop Soccer is not a licensed childcare provider but a privately run for-profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote recreational or athletic skills, with care and supervision of children provided as part of the program. The program is currently designed to serve the needs of children attending Birchview Elementary School. Children from other schools are welcome to attend; however, transportation to and from the school must be arranged in advance with both the school board and the transportation company.

For Whom?
Children must be turning six years old or be six years old or older at the start of the program year.
Administrative Fee:
An administrative fee of $50.00 + HST is charged per family. Please use coupon code "Sibling2025" with any subsequent registrations to avoid paying the fee again. The fee is non refundable if the family changes their mind about attending the program at any point of the year. If a family cancels all children from the program and re-registers them, the administrative fee will be charged again, as stated above.

Once registered, parents will be contacted to provide banking information for automatic withdrawals, and will be charged on the last business day of the previous month for the following month of programming.​ Monthly fee will be calculated based on the school calendar year/day.

Children can choose from a variety of activities, including organized sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, dodge, ball hockey) and activities such as arts, reading, board games, and outdoor play (weather permitting). Time is provided for homework.

Sample Daily Schedule for BEFORE SCHOOL:
7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Arrival

Children arrive and are signed in by staff.

Snacks will be provided: fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, milk or juice.
8:00 AM – 8:15 AM: Light Exercise / Morning Wake-Up Routine

Group warm-up activities such as stretching, yoga for kids, and energizing games (Simon Says, jumping jacks, etc.).

Designed to stimulate the mind and body and promote focus for the school day.
8:15 AM – 8:30 AM: Free Play & Supervised Options

Option 1: Organized indoor sport in the gym (e.g. mini soccer, basketball drills, obstacle courses).

Option 2: Creative activities in the hall area (e.g. drawing, puzzles, board games, reading corner).

Children choose based on interest, always under staff supervision.
8:30 AM: School Walk
• • Staff escort the children to Birchview Elementary School.

Sample Daily Schedule for AFTER SCHOOL:
Time: 2:50 PM – 6:00 PM
2:50 PM – 3:10 PM: School Dismissal & Walk to Program​

Children are signed out from the school and walked back to the church.

Attendance is taken upon arrival at the church.
3:10 PM – 3:30 PM: Snack Time

Peanut-free snacks provided (e.g. granola bars, fruit, cheese and crackers, veggie sticks).

Water is available at all times.

Children can relax and socialize after the school day.
3:30 PM – 4:45 PM: Sports Programming & Games

Led by qualified coaches and staff from NonStop Soccer.

Rotating schedule of organized sports (soccer, basketball, floor hockey, dodgeball, volleyball, etc.).

Modified for age groups and skill levels to ensure inclusion and fun.

Teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship are emphasized.

For those who prefer: alternative play stations such as Lego, crafts, or reading are available in the side hall.
4:45 PM – 5:30 PM: Wind Down Activities

Low-energy activities like journaling, homework, or cooperative games.
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Pick-Up Window

Parents/guardians sign out their children from the program.

Staff available to share quick updates on the child’s participation, if needed.
• Children are encouraged to gather belongings and say goodbye.
​Staff Members & Caregivers:
Our staff members (coaches) are trained to the highest standards understanding the needs of children. We have non-discriminating hiring practices that create a team from diverse backgrounds to support and build positive relationships with the children and families in our programs. We take time and care choosing staff, ensuring that the candidates we select are "people persons" with warm, outgoing, charismatic, nurturing, and caring personalities who connect well with children. All staff are required to undergo a police check.

Food & Snacks:
NonStop Soccer will provide snacks to the kids during the morning and afternoon. If parents wish to provide additional snacks, they are welcome to do so, but please do not send any items containing nuts or peanut products.

Illness & Vacation:
If children are away due to illness, hospitalization, or vacation, refunds will not be provided.
Cancellation:
Should your circumstances change and you no longer require our services, please submit your cancellation request online or via email. Cancellations must be requested 10 business days prior to your pre-authorized payment date. Send written requests to cancel to nonstopsoccerca@icloud.com.
